On Tuesday, June 27th, the Downtown Planning & Housing Element Subcommittee held a virtual meeting on Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH). AFFH is a new, required component of the Housing Element that requires jurisdictions to examine existing and future policies, plans, programs, rules, practices, and related activities to promote more inclusive communities. The workshop included an overview of AFFH requirements and how the Housing Element analyzes fair housing.
