The City Council and Planning Commission held a joint workshop to introduce the Housing Element and it's relationship to the Downtown Precise Plan. At the meeting, staff provided an overview of the Housing Element and discussed methods to meet Orinda's 1,359 draft RHNA. Staff presented a preliminary sites inventory that evaluated how many RHNA units could be met within the DPP Project Area.
Staff Recommendation - Staff recommended the City Council and Planning Commission receive the report and provide feedback.
Action - As an informational workshop, no action was taken.
