Draft Downtown Precise Plan

Read the draft Downtown Precise Plan (DPP)! The DPP has been drafted based on three years of conversations regarding the vision for downtown Orinda, desired goals and policies, housing downtown, increased building height and density, and more. The DPP documents the City’s long-range planning priorities for downtown Orinda. It establishes comprehensive guidance for downtown growth management and development decision-making by offering a cohesive downtown vision that will be implemented through future development, policymaking, and programs.

The DPP is organized into five chapters, with a sixth chapter (Objective Design Standards) to be adopted upon future amendment of the General Plan:
