On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, the City Council held a study session to discuss the new Housing Element state laws and solicit input on site selection and other approaches to meeting the RHNA. This meeting will also be a follow-up to the October 18, 2021 Subcommittee meeting and November 9, 2021 Planning Commission meeting regarding the sites inventory.
Staff Recommendation: Receive the report, take public testimony, and provide feedback on the proposed sites inventory. In addition, approve including all potential sites in the CEQA Environmental Impact Report (EIR) project description to provide maximum flexibility in the final sites inventory.
Action: The Council approved including all potential sites for the CEQA EIR project description.
