On Tuesday, January 9th, 2023, the City Council received an update on the Plan Orinda project. Staff provided the City Council with an update on the Downtown Precise Plan, refresher on the Housing Element, and asked for feedback on next steps regarding Plan Orinda implementation.
Staff Recommendation: Staff recommended the City Council receive the report, take public testimony, and provide feedbacks on next steps for implementation of the Downtown Precise Plan and Housing Element goals, policies, and actions.
Action: The City Council provided feedback to proceed with the rezoning of the downtown sites.
